Exclusive trips into the Southern Namib Naukluft Park to view the Feral Horses, that have roamed this area for seven generations. Go down to the Koichab Dune Belt with the Camelthorn tree forest in the old Koichab riverbed and spend time in the dunes with the guarantee that you are the only one's there. Climb the prominent extinct volcanic mountain "Dikke Willem" and see the remains of the heliograph station, dating back to pre-First World War times. From the top of the mountain the view of the desert stretches unendingly and the world is yours.

At Eagle's Nest

you will find unique stone bungalows, built around gigantic boulders, each with private verandahs, en-suite showers and attached toilet facilities. The charming central lounge with its solid granite rock walls, cozy fireplace and log furniture together with the charming rooms make Eagle's Nest a real mountain retreat on the edge of the desert.Here you will experience absolute tranquillity and privacy. Some of the best breathtaking sunsets can be experienced from your verandah.

The Desert Horse Inn

The modern guesthouse, The Desert Horse Inn, at the main reception, offers luxury rooms with spacious, en-suite bathrooms. Relax with a sundowner on the wooden deck overlooking the farm before savouring your delicious meal in our restaurant or sipping your drink in the ladies bar with it's cozy fireplace during the chilly winter evenings.

The "Geisterschlucht"

For families or back packer groups who prefer self-catering we recommend our rock-cabin "Geisterschlucht", which has 5 bunk beds, a lounge area with kitchen facilities and an outside bathroom. This cabin is situated in an natural amphitheatre, which creates an enchanting atmosphere.
