ONGAVA LODGE
|
is situated on the 30 000 hectar Ongava Private Game Reserve and shares a
common border with Etosha National Park on its southern boundary. The lodge
offers the full Etosha experience but at the sme time offers great
accommodation and service, as well as the opportunity to do night drives and
nature walks on the reserve which are not allowed within Etosha National Park.
Ongava Tented Camp is built in a different sector of the reserve and sleeps 8
guests in comfort with en-suite facilities.
Ongava Lodge
Accommodation offered are in 10 chalets attractively built out of rock and
thatch. All your comforts are taken care of. Each chalet has en-suite bathroom
with a bath and shower. The main lounge, pub and dining area are under thatch
and situated close to the top of a hill with wonderful views across the
plains below. There is a pool as well.
Room rates are usually valid from 01 November - 31 October

Coming from Windhoek drive north on B1 to Otjiwarongo where you turn left onto C38 to Outjo. After approximately 90 km just at the entrance gate into Etosha National park you turn left into the reserve and follow the signs for 10 km to the lodge.
Ongava Game Reserve has its own landing strip.
