| Vingerklip Lodge
is nestled in a timeless valley in the ancient landscape known as the Ugab terraces. Aplace of mystery, windsculptured rock and far horizons, it is a nature experience which lingers long in memory.
One of the most dramatic rock formation in Namibia is the 35m high pillar of rock, the Vingerklip or Finger of Stone. It stands proudly above this valley.

A sheltered sundowner verandah affords breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside and the unmatched splendour of a Namibian sunset. Gourmet cuisine complementd by fine wines, and refreshing, locally brewed beer is served by the open fireplace in a spacious dining area.
Eleven well-appointed, thatched, double accommodation units match the atmosphere of relaxation and tranquillity. For family-style holidays, five of the 22 units offer loft accommodation for two children.

![]() | Other attractions in the area include: the Petrified Forrest where some antediluvian flood deposited giant tree trunks are be found; the vividly coloured ridge of hills known as the Burnt Mountain and the Doros Crater where fossil remains have been found among the rocks. Twyvelfontein is unequalled for its abundance of rock engravings, while the imposing Brandberg massif is home to one of the richest collection of raock paintings in Southern Africa. |
